Previously sold as SilNet, this clear silicone rubber sealant cures to a flexible, elastic finish that moves with the fabric rather than cracking or peeling under stress. A single 1.5 oz tube covers up to 24 feet of seams, which is enough to treat a full tent in one application. It also works well for pinhole repairs and small tears, making it a practical addition to any ultralight repair kit heading into the Canadian backcountry.

Application is straightforward. Run it along the seam, let humidity do the curing work over three to six hours, and you have a seal that holds through heat, cold, and sustained rain.
