Next, remove all rubber components from the UltraHook by gently prying them out with a flat blade screwdriver. Place the Rope Guard onto the Winch Hook in the orientation you want it to be stored on your Fairlead. Insert the four included drive rivets, and using a ¼ inch punch, hammer the drive rivet posts until they are flush with the top of the rivet head. Finally, lubricate the barbs of the rubber pads and reinstall them on the opposing side to complete the installation process.
