[custom_html] The Bissell 203-6705 exhaust filter can be changed by removing the Dirty Tank from the vacuum cleaner and then removing the pleated filter from the top of the tank. The filter is NOT washable but you can remove dirt by tapping it against the side of a wastebasket. This filter comes with 1 in a pack and should be replaced every 6 months or sooner if it becomes difficult to remove the debris from the filter.
