About Insurer
Age Limits:
- Pets need to be at least 8 weeks old to enroll.
- No upper age limits apply.
Plan Coverage:
- Choose a reimbursement level of 70%, 80%, 90% or 100% after your deductible.
- Pay-out amount is based on your vet bill.
Annual Payout Limits:
- Limit of $10,000, $14,000 or unlimited. All based on your chosen plan.
Annual Deductible:
- $50, $100, $200 or $500.
Waiting Period:
- Coverage begins 5 days after policy for accidents.
- A policy waiting period of 14 days applies to illness claims.
- Waiting period of 6 months applies for conditions involving cruciates and patellas.
- The 6 month waiting period for knees can be waived with a healthy knee exam within first 30 days of policy effective date.
Exclusions:
- Pre-existing conditions are not covered.
- Curable pre-existing conditions are covered if symptom free for 12 months.
- Hereditary chronic and congenital conditions, behavioral therapy, holistic therapy, hip dysplasia, lost pet and pet mortality are all covered.
